Who has two thumbs and has been too busy to take pictures lately!
Gotten from
expect_life. Post a comment saying "Resistance is futile" on this entry if you want me to ask you 5 questions. Take those questions, answer them in a post on your own journal and do the same to your friends.
1.) What did you want to be when you were a little Hannah?I remember wanting to be an ~artist~ for a while, between like 8 and 10, but after that pretty pervasively I wanted to write up until a few years ago, when I realized I do not have the patience for editing and also never have any good ideas. I've always compulsively written though, and kept journal-type things for as long as I can remember (though I've thrown away/lost most of my kid ones! so sad!), so, yeah. Writer!
2.) What's one of the weirdest dreams you've had that you can still remember? The one I always tell people (although I have weird dreams all the time) is the one I had when I was 13 or 14, and I was pregnant with Avril Lavigne's baby. But really, every dream I have is weird: I dreamed Max was fat (didn't really care, but in my dream he was totes chubs), I dreamed I was an entirely different person with long, black hair and I had sex with my dad (my dad in the dream, who was NOT my dad in real life), dreamed that the world was ending and I was on a ship wearing a corset, etc etc.
3.) Who is your favorite actor and do their looks have anything to do with it or is it really about their acting?I really liked Natalie Portman until she
outed herself as a rape apologist signed the fucking Free Roman Polanski petition. Every movie I've seen of hers (except Star Wars) was good, and she was very good in them. So that upset me. I guess after her it's, like, Forest Whitaker (mostly because he is a fucking G; vegetarian 250 pound black belt motherfucker), uummmmm? There aren't too many actors that will draw me to a movie specifically to see them, I'm more into directors. Also I have a major crush on Andy Samberg, and that is largely to do with his looks (although also because he is funnay and wears NOW shirts to red carpet events). My favorite person on TV is Alton Brown, but he's not an actor as much as a personality.
4.) About how much water do you drink in an average day?Not enough :c on an average day I'll probably have 1-2 glasses of water, in between what I have with lunch and what I have at dinner. I have more when I'm hanging out with my dad at his house or at Max's, because they have ICEMAKERS and FRIDGE WATER. It is actually ridiculous how much more inclined I am to drink water when there's a fridge producing it for me. I think I'ma have to have one of those when I'm grown up.
5.) What do you look back on most fondly; elementary school, middle school or high school?I don't know. Definitely not elementary school. But after elementary school, I moved to Ireland and attented primary school for a year (which is their elementary school, and wasn't amazing), and then I went to an all-girls' secondary school, which is their middle and high school combined. I think that was probably my favorite school, where I had the most positive experience. I know people say "OH MY GOD AN ALL GIRLS SCHOOL HOW TERRIBLE IT MUST HAVE BEEN FOR YOU WITH NO BOYS AROUND EVER" but I think it was actually good for me to not have dudes around constantly while I was 11-14. I mean, I had dude-friends outside of school, but in school, I didn't worry about trying to be less smart in front of dudes, I developed for myself a pretty rigid set of standards (I will not kiss dudes I don't like! I will not drink for funsies because it's cool!), I made some excellent chick friends. We wore uniforms too, and I think that was positive too, it didn't KILL ALL OF MY SELF-EXPRESSION AND MAKE ME A ROBOT OH GOD, it mostly just made it easier to get dressed in the morning, and it made it so I didn't have to worry about how I looked when I went to school. I could just go to school and focus on hanging out with my friends and getting decent grades. Not to say that I didn't love my experience with high school in Portland, having made lots of excellent friends there and having had generally a pretty good experience, but my secondary school "middle school" years I think were the best.
tl;dr middle school
