We interrupt your normal viewing schedule to bring you this update: We got a new puppy! They got her for Reg to have a companion. We've had her for a while, and I've had the pictures for a while, but I wanted to make some headway into Ireland before we processed them, and plus I went with Jordan to get her tattoo done yesterday so I have those pictures as well. No cut for you, mister.

Ireland pictures, episode II. This adventure is in Carlingford, Louth, quite up near Cavan (which is in Northern Ireland, and we shopped there), featuring my uncle Paul, his wife Niamh (NEE-of, or NEEV, depending on how American you're feeling), and their three kids Cian (9), Tara (7), and Barry (5). Barry is like mini-Louie. There is no way to not love that kid. This installment is shorter than the last!

Back from Ireland! Did I even announce my departure here?
Anyway, I took a ridiculous amount of photos, and here's the first bunch I've processed (which were, coincidentally, the last ones taken chronologically, excepting film because I haven't developed any of those yet), so woo. For once in my life I am doing you the courtesy of a cut! Many pictures behind it! Expect boring commentary, I am kind of passionate about Kerry/Ireland!

today I went to the Rose Garden, bought groceries, and baked a coffee cake with Jordan, all on the same transfer! I warn you: this is mostly pictures of flowers. I could take pictures of flowers all day every day :c
and oh man. This was the most delicious coffee cake I have ever had (this recipe, although we used about half the rhubarb it calls for, and were quite satisfied with the amount), and we made it from scratch! Has definitely gotten me inspired to cook more.

More b&w film, this is my final project, I am very pleased with it. The first two photos didn't make the cut (the first one had technical flaws I knew she would hate and I couldn't fix; the second didn't quite fit my theme [hands])
Also: I need to quit it with this being awake until 1:30 business. I know I am the oldest fogey and everyone else does this shit on the regular, but I myself hate being awake late and up late, I much prefer being awake moderately late and up early. And of course tomorrow is the last day before summer starts, so my sleep schedule will only get crazier. OH WELL MY LIFE IS SO HARD AND DIFFICULT

I want to grow up. I'm still living at home, still working very little hours and making almost nothing, still not driving, still in school, still everything. I feel like I'm still in high school, and I keep displacing this onto saying I want to move out, saying I want to buy a car, trolling Craigslist for cheap ways to do either when neither are really viable right now. I mean I could save up for a car, which I will start doing but will probably fail miserably at, knowing my propensity for impulse/food purchases. I just don't knoooowwww. The other thing is that I have Sarah and Rebecca, who both have cars and got them through means which are impossible to me, and it's not fair. Blugh. Whine whine whine whine
